Quran and Hadith – A Harsh Reminder

May 13, 2011

Sometimes the heart tells u that Allah is so Forgiving and Merciful and He will forgive you as He says in so many ahadith qudsi and quran verses that He is the most Merciful and He will forgive every sin. So whats wrong in committing a sin and then asking forgiveness afterwards. Allah Almighty replies to this:

“Allah ac…cepts only the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and foolishness and repent soon afterwards; it is they to whom Allah will forgive and Allah is Ever AllKnower, AllWise.” (Surah Nisa 4:17)

Remember the words ‘Ignorance’ and ‘foolishness’.

But then again heart says that you still have life left. How many a people enjoy their teenage and then when they get old they keep a beard and repent. So why not be like them. Oh really? Think 1000 times before u want to take such a risk and think of this ayah:

“And of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil deeds until death faces one of them and he says: “Now I repent;” nor of those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful torment.” (4:18)

Its true Allah is the Most merciful and the most Beneficient. But remember. Allah is also the Most just. And Allah is also AL JABBAR. And He is not foolish. He is the MOST WISE. And He is the Lord of the alameen. And He says:

“O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared!” (3:102)

What happens when a person doesnt fear Allah and keeps breaking promises that from today i will not do sin but again he commits the same. Allah Almighty says:

“So He punished them by putting hypocrisy into their hearts till the Day whereon they shall meet Him, because they broke that (covenant with Allâh) which they had promised Him and because they used to tell lies.” (9:77)

Today how common is this. There is a cover of hypocrisy on our hearts thats the reason we try and try and dont achieve true peace in our lives. We do everything but still we are there from where we started. We try everything but nothing works. Why?

“Those who break Allah’s Covenant after ratifying it, and sever what Allah has ordered to be joined, and do mischief on earth, it is they who are the losers.” (2:27)

“And they were covered with humiliation and misery, and they drew on themselves the Wrath of Allah.” (2:61)

And after all this we say that we have read the kamla and we will go to jannah after all.

“And they say, “The Fire shall not touch us but for a few numbered days.” Say (O Muhammad Peace be upon him to them): “Have you taken a covenant from Allah, so that Allah will not break His Covenant? Or is it that you say of Allah what you know not?” (2:80)

When will we understand all this. When??
